We look after all aspects of your ski trip, including comfortable accommodation at our Kea Lodge, so you can focus on experiencing the best lift and helicopter accessed ski touring the region has to offer with your professional guide. Optional extras include heli-skiing days and overnight stays at luxurious mountain chalets or huts.

Treble Cone Backcountry Tour

The Treble Cone ski field, near Wānaka provides lift access to 1900m and acres of backcountry terrain of the Motutapu Conservation area. Untracked snow is available long after the ski field is chopped up.

Cass Valley Ski Tours

Explore the ski and splitboard touring of Glenmore Station and the tributaries of the Cass River from the cosy and private Lady Emily or Falcons Nest huts. Visit the Bad Decision hut for your pre-ordered dram of whiskey. We have limited availability for scheduled dates in August and September.

Heli-accessed Ski and Splitboard Tours

The peaks of the Harris Mountains and Buchannan Mountains are a short flight from the Matukituki Valley. Black Peak, Mount Alta, Fog Peak, and End Peak provide excellent viewpoints over Lake Wānaka and the Mount Aspiring National Park. Flying into these remote locations allows an uncrowded and remote touring day out before a final helicopter ride back to the valley floor.

Aspiring Glaciers Ski Tour

Ski or splitboard tour the glaciers of Mount Aspiring National Park. Helicopter access to a high alpine hut for the full winter ski touring and mountaineering experience.

Our range of Mountain Safety Council endorsed avalanche skills courses provide the skills you need to keep you safe on your own backcountry adventures. These short or more comprehensive longer courses are run as day trips from Wānaka or staying overnight in the mountains.
